Divisional Secretariat - Mawathagama

The "Citizen Mirror-2025" "Divisional Productivity Index 1.0" organized by the National Productivity Secretariat to measure and promote the productivity, innovation and public service efficiency of all Divisional Secretariats in the island was rated AAA, ranking 9th out of 30 Divisional Secretariats in Kurunegala District and 40th out of 340 Divisional Secretariats in the entire island. The Pindapata dhanaya was done on 2024-06-05 by the Divisional Secretariat, the Divisional Council, the Police, the Trade Union and all the institutions of the city. 

At the invitation of the Divisional Secretary, with the special intervention of the Kurunegala Greenway Foreign Employment Agency, the Korean KOA Institute distributed eyeglasses to 3000 low-income individuals in the Mawathagama Divisional Secretariat Division on the 3rd and 4th of December, with the assistance of officials from the Korean KOA Institute.At the invitation of the Divisional Secretary, with the special intervention of the Kurunegala Greenway Foreign Employment Agency, the Korean KOA Institute distributed eyeglasses to 3000 low-income individuals in the Mawathagama Divisional Secretariat Division on the 3rd and 4th of December, with the assistance of officials from the Korean KOA Institute.

Mawathagama Division Inter-Sports Club Athletics Tournament was held on 26.04.2024 at Mawathagama Samodaya Stadium under the leadership of the Divisional Secretary.
